We are a congregational church.  This means, that the government of the church is located in the members of the congregation.  Because that gets unwieldy for the making of the day to day decisions of a church, the congregation has vested authority for general oversight, coordination, vision, and financial decisions (beyond a certain set limit) to the Church Council.

The Church Council meets on a regular monthly schedule (though usually not during August) to review the various ministries of the church, and to deal with any issues that have come up through these ministries that they are unable to resove by their own authority.  We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the chapel..  Anyone is welcome, though only elected members to the council have a vote.
